This infographic illustrates the differences in “poverty” between the USA and India. Lately there has been a lot of discussion around the fact that there has been a huge increase in the amount of people below the poverty line in the USA. However, it is important for us to recognize that even though poverty has increased in America, they are still a very well off country especially when compared to India.
